My strange almost but not quite a grinding noise is back again.

Not CV related.
Is almost impossible to hear underneath the van but is very evident from
inside the van.
Goes away with clutch in.
Does not appear to be rpm dependant.
Get about the same vibration rate as the sound if I hold the shifter
hard
over to make contact with base.
Is very evident when first accelerating or decelerating and then
disappears.

Have some suspicions but they don�t make sense.
Any suggestions appreciated.
