I got a set of those last year from Bus Boys. They work OK, but really, for
what you pay, they're a bit of a disappointment. The "rods" are just two
flat aluminum strips with riveted together with short flat bits on the ends
and in the center (as visible in the picture). The elastic cords you see
are even worse. Imagine a cord with a small loop held together with a
crude, old-fashioned copper crimp designed for electrical wire connections.
A short sheet metal screw is poked through the loop. The snap-fasteners are
of the regular mundane craft-store variety. The instructions are crude
xerox sheets giving rough measurements for the curtains and placement of
the rods. The rod placement is really only good as a guideline, as some of
the rods were either too long or too short to fit where it said to put
them. In the end, it worked out OK, but if I had it to do over again Id
just get some sort of RV curtain rod material and measure everything
myself. This kit is pretty much a joke, which I think explains why it
seems to be "NLA" everywhere. Bus Boys certainly decided to stop carrying
it for such reason.
