I use Permatex 518 or CurilK2 for any oil related pressure parts.... http://www.benplace.com/head3/100_0025.jpg DON'T put anything thick over there...the oil pressure is created between the plate and the gear...gap is everything over there... The Right Stuff is ok but thicker...so don't put to much, just a small film.... Cheers, Ben
