Note the EPA notes in the sale. I looked at the ETKA for the mil version and found that you will probably need a new ECU and a CAT and O2 sensor. Suggest checking out your states rules on collector vehicles. Some states are generous but many are not. For here in colorado the answer I got was..must pass standard test regardless of age for its initial check. A collector rule for a mil std vehicle does not exist here. A perfect candidate for a tiico, inline, or subie mod. Wish I had the funds for it. jimt On 4/19/05 16:03, "Joel Walker" <jwalker17@EARTHLINK.NET> wrote: > found this on ebay, in the wrong category. under VWs, it's under Other > Models. > wish it was an automatic (bad knees, ya know), but i hate to see it > waste away without some foo... er, ethusiast on the list at least > hearing about it. ;) > > http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6060&item=45 > 44318669&rd=1 > > i have no connection to the seller, the bus, the state of Ohio, or > anything/anybody north of the Tennesee River. ;) > just tryint to pimp them buses. :) > > unca joel > > p.s. well ... that's not totally true. i do have a cousin who lives in > Huntsville. :) > > jimt Planned insanity is best.
