        I'm planning to attempt to install a Spal 33000031 aftermarket window kit
in my 85 westy.  Not sure it will work, but it looks reasonable.  And they can be
had for ~$100.  Way more reasonable than VW parts.  I have aftermarket power lock
actuators, may as well have AM power window motors.
