Let me guess - you have a '90-91 Vanagon, or at least one that lacks a fuel filter before the pump. Sometime in 1990, VW did away with the pre-pump fuel filter. Since that filter had a different sized inlet and outlet, this necessitated a different diameter fuel line from tank to pump - hence a different sized nipple on the tank. Since this tank is fairly rare, it is not generally available aftermarket. But there is an easy workaround. A simpler solution than brazing in a new fitting is to simply add the pre-pump filter (and fuel line), which also provides a little extra filtration protection for the pump (not a bad thing). - Ron Salmon The Bus Depot, Inc. www.busdepot.com (215) 234-VWVW _____________________________________________ Toll-Free for Orders by PART # : 1-866-BUS-DEPOT
