 yea steelies are ballseat and alloys are coneseat.   its a ~spare~ tire..
i was just saying they will work if u dont have anything else..  i have
towed/driven many carats home with blown out tires, i bring a steel spare along to
replace the blowouts and just use the alloy lugs. i actually am running a
steel 14 spare on my vanagon with SA 15" alloys.
