Subject:Classic headlight failure

Can some old salt remind me whether the usual suspect is the light switch
or the ignition switch? And, come to that, which end of the meter to
hold? Most of me that makes sense seems to have been ground away in the
service of {something that's certainly worth the price, actually over the
last year -- temporarily, I hope}, so I wouldn't turn down a
terminal-by-terminal tracing recipe either at this point. It's the usual
deal where the parking circuit works and pulling the stalk gets
momentary-on high beams. '84 1.9l, haven't noticed any other failures
associated with it.

I did check that the driver's seat was facing the right way.

'preciate it,
david
