With a std shift I put the transmission in 2nd gear and rock the car until the rotor is pointing at the notch in the distributor rim. With an automatic you'll need a wrench on the rear bolt. ______________________________________________________________ Or, put a large wrench on the alternator pulley nut and turn the motor over with it. When the belt starts to slip, push down on the top span of the belt until it grabs. Take some paint and high-light the TDC mark and a point directly opposite it on the crank pulley too.
