Hey man, I got it too. My old hose worked fine for 20+ years,but grooves
appeared overnight, when I replaced the a/c compressor. An a/c person
discovered it , and admired the awsomeness of the belt slap.I put another
20 year old hose on ,and tightened up on the belt, and a day later, the new
used hose had grooves.Interesting , anybody else got this problem?Im on my
third hose. I now drive with a spare hose.Once again, I never have to worry
about keeping my antifreeze too long.Roger
