The 2wd version is strictly from SA. But yes, they are available in
the US from dealers who sell SA parts. Was that a trick question?

You can substitute a cutdown US-spec front brake rotor. Seem like too
much work to me.

All T3 (Vanagon) Syncros came with separate hub and rotor assemblies.
So that sort of fits your question. The front hubs as used on Syncros
ARE available on US spec models.

I told you you were asking trick questions.
