Fuel pump may have burned out as soon as it sucked air. Only screen is
inside and part of tank. I doubt the filter after the pump clogged that
fast without there being enough crud to damage the pump also.

I ran out of gas this evening....rolled right into a gas
station.....lucky break.....but after putting gas in.....won't
start.....unlucky break

Fires and sputters but won't catch.

I'm guessing some crud from bottom of tank has clogged either the fuel
pickup or the fuel filter.

Suggestions.....other ideas for a fix?????

This is a 2wd 89 Westy, automatic.
