The outer handle on the sliding door is interchangeable with some notes.

1.  takes more energy to push down on the shorter handle
2.  the shorter handle will rub the door if you don�t put in a spacer of
some kind or "clearance" the handle.

Did mine by accident while I was rekeying my van so that all doors took the
same key.  It rubs as I havent found the round tuit to do the fix yet.
