My '85 Vanny has always had the AC Compressor disconnected. The PO told me he disconnected it to rermove the engine and replace the throwout bearing, etc. I am wanting to reconnect the hoses and recharge the system. Is there anything to be aware of or service I can do while I have the compressor out. Can I check anything, add anything, etc. Thanks, Michael Knight '77 Westy Deluxe, "el Verde" '85 Vanagon GL, nameless http://photos.yahoo.com/electrictrain@sbcglobal.net
