Last weekend I woke up to a shattered mailbox post, courtesy of some kids who were having batting practice the night before. What does this have to do with Vanagons, you ask? Well, as I was carrying the new wood post down the driveway I somehow managed to perfectly impale the driver's side headlight on my 88 Westy. Duh. Of course, this did not make me happy, as I now had two things to fix thanks to the juvenile dilenquents. Thankfully, the headlight itself did not break, but it appears that some part of the adjusting system did. I've never had the headlight out; is there an obvious, easily broken part that is easy to replace? Or, will I need to replace the entire headlight bracket? If so, does anyone have a used one they'd like to sell? Thanks...
