I love these volks that think you are slowing down in a Vanagon!!!  Try
driving an early bus w/ 36 hp engine w/ reduction gears or even slower, a
crash box tranny Barndoor w/ 25 hp engine!

The Vanagon flies!!!! grin

I stepped UP in speed from my split window buses to my 84 Westy! The
countryside is now a blurrr.

And don't get me started on how warm my Vanagon is compared to an aircooled
bus.
