Subject:Re: propane filling question ... do it at home?

My last Westy's propane tank became so rusty that stations declined to fill it.
So, I purchased fittings & a short hose that allowed me to remove the rusty relic, and attach one of those Coleman squat green disposable tanks inside the cabinet under the sink.
Then when you do run out, you can just swap it for a new one.

I seriously doubt this would pass the UL approval.

Also, shut off any burners BEFORE changing the tank!
