Cool video... i liked the dual perspective too!!
have trying to mount a tripod in the syncro, rather
than a co-pilot that has to control the camera and
their body movement.
i think it would provide a better picture.

I dont think you are abusing anything.  especially if
the trails are for 4x4's... which means they are
maintained and designed by the people who use them,
and those are on level enviornmentaly aware.
have fun finding the limits of your syncro, hope you
dont find the limits when the van is on its side...
