Subject:Re: propane filling question ... do it at home? Experimenter needed.

I just used my propane bottle filler adapter to check the fit on the
internal threads of the standard fill adapter on a westy tank. (not the
autostop)

See pic

My westy tank is not mounted or able to be mounted to the van. Can someone
check the angle to the westy fill port to see if a 14 oz or a 16oz bottle
would fit if connected this way?

I tested this just as you see it in the pic with a propane bottle attached
and the valve popped right open to take a fill (in this case blow propane
into the air). Or possibly just put the bottle on there and leave it but
REMEMBER to REMOVE it before leaving.
