I just had to change out two of "peanut" bulbs above the speedo and tach. The little metal strips that are in there fell out. One got lost somewhere behind the cluster and I have the other. But I can't quite figure out where these go. I looked on an extra instrument cluster and it seems they might go on the "shade" that sort of hangs down. But when I tried it there, it was much harder to put the white plastic housing back in. What do these things do and are they necessary? Does anyone have a pic of it installed?
