Has anyone fixed their PW regulators rather than paying $150 for a
replacement?  The plastic lower guide on the slide rail has lost its
rivet and now the cable is misadjusted to the point that I don't think
I can stretch it enough to get the guide back in place.  I'm a bit
reluctant to pull the cover off the gear box for feart that the cable
will spring out like a snake.

Guidance anyone?
