My '82 diesel 4 speed tranny appears to have a slight leak around the
shifter shaft. Is this seal replaceable with the trans in the van? (Perhaps I
can jack up the right side to keep oil from coming out, or is the level too
much above this?) Any special tricks, or is it straightforward?
