Hope you folks will put up with this post... it is, after all, a VW
related question.

I have a 99 Jetta a4 TDI.   In the last six months, the temp gauge
has gone from working intermittently, to not working at all.

I'm assuming a poor connection... but I want to ask the list if any
has experience with a Jetta.   Where is the temp gauge and its
associated wiring ?  Can I get at it  ?  And how in the world does a
person get at the instrument cluster ??

Suggestions or advice always welcome.
