I just called BD to add to my order, but in talking with the rep I learned that what they sell protects against puncture, not heat. Is that the function of the original sheathing as well, or does it protect against contact with hot engine parts. As the sheathing they have is not in stock, I'm hoping to get something that I can install this weekend. Stan, what size (and brand) heat shrink do you use, and does it remain pliable or harden with added heat? > -----Original Message----- > From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] > On Behalf Of Don in North Carolina > Sent: Tuesday, May 24, 2005 2:08 PM > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > Subject: Re: Fuel Lines...my turn!
