The Mercedes guys are all fired up about those Mercedes/Freightliner/Dodge Sprinter vans. Great fuel mileage, robust engineering and nice packaging has so far proven to be a winner. It's too bad VW hasn't figured out how to market some of their Euro-spec vans and light duty trucks over here. There was an article on them in our local paper and they supposedly get 34 MPG around town and are starting to be used by delivery companies like Fed Ex, etc. I've seen a few around our area on the central CA coast.
