I installed my old oil pressure sender and gage in diffrent Vanagon and
now something strange is going on.Had gage wired up like always had and
after turning ignition key on pointer goes down.Disconnected signal wire
 from sender and reading
goes to max quickly with ignition on.Strange indeed.
Need some input as to what is the problem, sender or gage.I think it's
gage but
is there a test i can do? Sender is VDO 360 009, gage is VDO 2 1/16"
