1) Make sure you have a GENUINE Vice Grip.  Not some "made in China"
Vice Grip clone.  The clones are no good.
2) Make sure your Vice Grip is large enough for the job.  Don't use a
the small handheld Vice Grip for CV bolts.
3) Make sure your Vice Grip is relatively new with good teeth.  Don't
use your dads 25 year old vice grip.

If you follow the 3 steps above, it should work.
