I've got a leak by the manifold in the cooling system on a '96 Olds Cutless Supreme with 3.1L engine. To stop that leak properly is going to be a $400+ repair at best. Coolant doesn't pour out in a big stream but it definitely leaks. Question. Are these coolant stop-leak compounds really effective? And what would be the prospects for stopping this leak with such a compound. I confess I have never used such before and I am leery of putting something in the system that might possibly clog the radiator or something. Anybody had hands on expereince with some of this stuff?? Reommendations??? Thanks, Regards, John Rodgers 88 GL Driver (most of the time)
