Your compressor takes 8 ounces of oil + about 1 ounce in the suc port. Put 2 ounces of oil in the hose that goes from the dis port of the compressor. This is the hose that goes to the front condenser. The compressed gasses will push it around the system.2 ounces in the condenser inlet(on the top): 1 ounce in the reciever dryer: 2 ounces in the evaperater inlet( where the expansion valve goes).Put the vacume pump on the system for 1.5 hours to dry out any moisture, and the shut the pump off after 1 hour. Watch the gauge to see if the vaccum is lost. If it is lost, you have moisture, or a leaky connection. Check each connection and repeat.Keep the jpump on as long as possiable. Overnite is ok.While you have a vacume, attach your refrigerant and charge through the low side with gas, not liquid.
