Help, Anybody know exactly how the gas valve electrical lead works? Its an insulated spade connector on the gas valve the thermocouple connects to. I get a reading of about 12millivolts when the fridge is lit. The LED stays on all the time on the panel though. Some of my reading says the spade is supposed to go to ground when the fridge is lit and not be grounded when not. I inspected the gas valve and electrical connector that screws into the back of it. The spade is insulated from the brass housing when its out but not when its screwed into the valve. The center point of the valve is grounded to the body. I cant even see how the electro magnet in it works but it does. Anybody got some good info on how to test or what common problems are? Thanks, Doug in Calif
