I recently purchased the JVC KD-DV5100. Seemed like the perfect solution to me. Plays DVD video if you want to bother with a monitor Plays DVD data so you can have about 4.5 Gig of MP3 on one disc Has Aux input on front for tape player, iPod, Satelite radio, etc. SIRIUS ready if you want a tuner controlled by the head unit. Remote control
