Inlet screen in the tank may be clogging. Turn it off, the junk floats off the screen. Turn it on and the junk soon gets sucked down. Hey all, My fuel pump starting to buzz pretty loudly about a month ago. I knew that it was atleast 10 years old, so I decided to replace it. I replaced the pump, filter, and all the hose in the immediate area. About a day later, it started to buzz again. Now, it is silent and fine for the first 15 or 20 minutes of driving, but once the van heats up to normal temp. (might just be coincidence?) it starts to buzz pretty loudly. I haven't done a fuel pressure test as I don't have the gauge or hose to do it, but what else could it be? fuel pressure regulator? I've noticed no power loss or abnormal operation. The van still gets about 16mpg...no matter what I do to it! Would love to hear suggestions from folks who have dealt with this before. Thanks! James '83.5 2.1 country homes camper
