I've got an 86 Syncro and need to get into the front heater control valves.
The hot control doesn't shut off completely, nor does the foot air.  The
chassis has 300K on it, but is in very good condition; I expect the
thousands of cycles of the controls have made the water and air valves
tired.

It's hard to tell where to get access to these; please tell how to get into
these controls.
