Oops: I just hit it a little harder and it moved... I guess it was the metal ring on the pin that was stuck, which was why I was able to wiggle it around. I have the van on a jack stand with the wheel off. It looks like I have what the haynes manual calls the "Trever" style calliper: two pins which punch out towarrds the car. At least, that's how it *should* work. > > After removing one pin (the lower one) without trouble, the upper one won't punch out. I've punched it loose enough that I can turn it with my fingers (or a wrench), and wiggle it back and forth a bit, but can't get it to puch out. I can't tell what's holding it---it certainly looks like it should come out. Has anybody had this problem? Any ideas? > > Thanks very much for any suggestions, > Wes > 84 1.9l
