The fist requirement of registering a vehicle as a classic is that it is at least 25 years old. Then the only real benefit is maybe better and lower cost insurance. These insurance policies are usually restricted as to where and how far you can drive, where the vehicle is stored, and how it is used. These policies are not good for campers that are being used for camping. Someone recently posted about trying to register their Vanagon as a classic car in Pennsylvania (I can't seem to find the original posting). I've been considering the same thing. Please contact me via PMail if you have experience doing this or are in the process. Maybe we can compare notes. Thanks! Brian W. Abington, Pa.
