It turns out that I had one of the shorter curtains on in the wrong location. Using a tip from Gerald Masar I used the shorter of the curtains and fed them through the shock Cord behind the stove to prevent flapping curtain fires and to stop them flapping around and hold them in place when driving the rest I placed behind the shock cord and hooked the shock cord underneath the upsidedown mirror clip ??? Everything looks good now. Thank you everyone for helping me through this traumatic situation. He also said he hopes this is the only problem I ever have with my van. Adam Thacker 1987 Westfalia Quote from my wife .. Its just starting to grow on me and and it isn't helping out by spending all last Saturday in the garage while you changed fuel lines and this week you say you need to spend $1000.00 on a new stainless exhaust. Guess I wont' mention the other little fixxes that I would like to do. And I will have to hold off longer for that second battery :) -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM] On Behalf Of John Meeks Sent: Wednesday, June 29, 2005 2:14 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Re: Are My Curtains on Correct? When you un-snap them and pull them out, they tuck behind the black cord. The sliding door curtains have small plastic loops that fit over little knobs. I can send you some pix if that would help. I like your idea of running the black strechy cord thru the bottom seam though. Maybe if you could find a way to lower that cord, your curtains would be nice and tight. -- John Meeks Vanagon Rescue Squad http://www.vanagonauts.com/Vanagon_Rescue_Squad74.htm '91 Multivan Top o' Northern Michigan KC8ZFN
