Yes, this is all true. The shipping will kill all but the most lucrative deals. Just like Ebay.I priced a shippment yesterday that was the size of a cubed pallet.Weighed 200lbs and was going 200miles--$200 with packing by shrink wrap.I am restricting my interest to auctions at local military bases within a striking distance of about 25miles. In the near future,with all these base closings, I may just find some useful and interesting stuff.I saw some kind of camera for maping land in an airplane. Cost the government $1,700,000. Went for $35. But what can it be used for? At least combat boots can outfit a large famly.
