The plastic chrome strip around my 1983 Westphalia windshield is getting pretty ugly, as are the
strips around the other windows.  Is it possible to replace these strips without removing the
windshield (windows).  I think I once saw mention here of a tool that made it possible.

Also, is the dealer the only source for these items, or is there a better( and cheaper way) to
acquire them.  Are there generic real chrome strips available?
