Hey man, I wouldnt try to turn the tube. Like you say,a leak risk. Dont use
the jb weld in the 2 tubes. I have never used that product succussfully,
anywhere. In never seems to dry, no matter how I mix it.Use the jb weld
stick, or any product like it. All work great.I always keep a stick or 2 in
my van for emergencys.
