I'm not from around those parts.. never been to a BUses of the corn (and
am planningon it) but also would like to attend the Embrun VW show..

how far away are they?
can it be done with out getting up too aweful early?
does anyone else go from BotC to Embrun? a caravan of locals would be
grand.

thanks for your input.. and I'd hopefully see some of you at one of the
events..

Daniel, both great VW events and I wish the Bob and Greg would get their act
together NEXT year and separate these two events. Coming from the Syracuse
area is gonna take you about 5 hours to either event. BOTC to Embrun about 4
hours. I did the run last year. Left BOTC at 5 ~ 6 am and was in Embrun at
10 am after stopping by my place to pick up my already loaded trailer of
parts for sale and fixing a blown exhaust gasket ! I will be at BOTC but am
leaning towards not going to Embrun this year. Too much driving for little too
little bang !

You do know about LiMBO's _West River Westies_
(http://www.limbobus.org/westies.html) , July 15 ~ 17, Townsend, VT ? I will be there, leaving here
with my bud, Eurovan Gerry, Wednesday so as to spend some time picking parts
over at John's Car Corner in Westminster, VT., Big yard full of Vanagons,
Bays, Splits, etc. for pickin' through. I spent an entire day there last year.
Should be a hop, skip and a jump for you.

Cheers,
