Well, we left Salt Spring Island (near Victoria, BC) 9 July, and headed to Seattle and then to
Salem, OR where we headed North East through Oregon, Idaho and Montana up to US 2 which took us
all the way to St. Ignace, Mi. We will be spending the next 2 weeks here in Harbor Springs MI
before heading on to Halifax.

About 2,500 miles (4,000 Kms?) in the past 8 days, and we have only been on Interstate roads for
about 500 Kms of the trip, the rest being on small 2 lane roads.  The van ran perfectly all the
way till 2 hours from here (Harbor Springs MI), when a wire jiggled loose and we lost all power.
I was able to re-attach the wire and we were on our way in a about 20 minutes.  We are tired of
