As irritating as it is, I'd be inclined to let him off with a warning
for this. I mean, it's not an "I'm on vacation till December" auto
response, it's a warning message from his email provider's mail server
saying his mailbox is full. He may very well not have known that he
had a mailbox limit. Still, I think list administration should be such
that those who inadvertently bombard the list like that simply get
unsubscribed.  Easy for me to say, though, from the comfort of my
La-Z-Boy....
