my wife and i spent three months in europe, mostly in rural france, in an '87 westy "joker" high top, which has the same two-burner stove and same fridge as westies exported to u.s. we cooked whatever we liked, basically, and meals and cleanup evolved into a simple ritual that was part of the fun. we decided you really could live for years in one of these things if you were so inclined. campgrounds there, many of them park-like, are as common as starbucks here and had everything you needed from showers to groceries. we concluded there is really no better, or cheaper, way to see europe. art '82 westy Kim Brennan wrote: > The whole Joe versus the Black Bear thread makes me curious what folks > cook when camping. > > Me, I tend to prepare my meals at my house, stick them in tupperware > (or equivalent) and then store the ready made foods in the fridge.
