I have heard that the thermo-heat transfer glue between the pipes and the fins can Dry up and stop transferring heat/cold. I have seen this in the archives Tom From: J Roth <rbluewesty@GMAIL.COM> Reply-To: J Roth <rbluewesty@GMAIL.COM> Date: Fri, 29 Jul 2005 16:43:18 -0400 To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Subject: Dometic freezing up Tried the archives but no (easy) hits. The dometic in the 87 westy is icing up the pipes (in both propane & 110v mode) -- not frosting the fins -- ice forms on the horizontal tubes behind the fins. Nobody has suggested that the dometic is too efficient (yeah, right), so I'm assuming there's a flow problem. And yes - it's on level ground. Suggestions?
