Unlike most cars which are worth more as parts, Syncro Westies are worth more complete and running. A project SW will hardly bring any dough, but one that is fully sorted and in great shape can bring big bucks. Of course does a thief know that? Reminds me of the film "Raging Bull" where the Jake LaMotta character removes the gems from his championship boxing belt to hock, only to find out the belt was worth much more as a whole--it was a profound moment. I guess it's magic, but an SW is worth more than the sum of its parts.
