Jonce, I had a similar problem on my 1.9. I had what I thought was good spark, but intermittent misses. I changed the cap, rotor, plugs, wires, distributor, and coil. I was fixing it for a short stretch of time, but the problem would ALWAYS return. I was getting desperate. I was thinking "This problem should be fixed. I have replaced EVERY piece in the ignition system!" That was when it hit me - I had not replaced every piece - the ignition module had not been touched yet. I grabbed my spare from my parts truck, and viola - my Butternut was whole again! If you are lucky enough to have a spare, please try that first - I had to cough up $172 for my new replacement!
