Better yet, if you are renting the dolly, try to get one that allows
you to do all 4 wheels up...

They weigh a lot more and cost a bit more...like 20 dollar difference
from Penske when I rented mine...Otherwise, yeah I would remove the
axles for a 400 mile jaunt...I wouldn't want to risk the
consequences...

Oh yeah...and I would also make sure that the front wheels up dolly
had brakes...I owned one that did not...what a difference brakes in
the rear make....
