The color is either Wolfram Grey which is kind of a gunmetal grey color or
Dove Blue which is a true blue grey. Dove blue was very common on 85-89
Vanagons.

Subject: Official Paint Color Name

My daughter and I spotted a later model Vanagon Westy that was a dark
grayish blue. We discussed what this color might be called. She liked
"slate gray," but I felt it was too blue for that. I told her that I
could find out what VW called it. Now, before she gets home from school
. . . can someone help me out with this so I can remain (in her eyes)
all-knowing . . . and avoid becoming the doofus I know I really am?
