I have an aftermarket audiovox "Prestige" alarm.

I am trying to integrate it into my 87 Westy factory central locking system.

The VW door locks appear to want a constant +12v to lock and a constant +12v to unlock (via a separate wire for each function).

The alarm brain puts out a +12v 1 seoond pulse to lock on one wire then another +12v pulse to unlock on another wire.

This doesn`t seem to be comptabile with VW.  Has anyone rigged up an aftermarket alarm or keyless entry system to the VW central locking?  If so, how did you do it?
