> > I think there is a newly renamed dealership in Van Nuys, CA....if this > is the one I'm thinking about....I'd forget IT....! But read the customer testimonials! "A week after I got my van, I took it from Valencia, CA all the way to Phenox, AZ and it drove like a champ! On one of the 12 hour streches, I looked down to see how fast my Westy was going. I was astonished to see the 90 MPH read out." I'd get that speedometer adjusted if I was him. It's lying pretty hard! PS: it's spelled "Phoenix". I don't know which is worse. Him misspelling it originally, or them posting it and not knowing. "This van was no joke at all. I have only had one problem since. After telling Kevin what was happening with my car over the phone, he told me it must be the idle slave cylender " Idle slave cylinder...yeah, that's it. Your figgin-cam lobe extension is a bit wobbly too. I suggest a manual transmission filter change and timing belt replacement. I'm not sure which is more suspicious: that they call the idle stabilizer valve a "slave cylinder", or that they diagnosed it over then phone. For every kind of salesman there is a customer, though. Or a PT Barnum put it, there's a sucker born every minute.
